Ambiguity in GregMat+ Quant Problem

Hi there, Gregmat.

I believe that there is some ambiguity in this question. My answer was “D” but the correct answer is listed as “A”.

In my opinion, the problem with this question is that the shape of the fence is not disclosed. There are two possible scenarios in this case:

  • If it’s an enclosed fence (triangular, rectangular, circular, etc.), the number of fences would be 15, and hence the answer would be “C”.
  • But if the fence is not enclosed, the correct answer would be 16, and the answer “A”.

It is for these reasons I believe that the correct answer should be “D” and not “A”. Thanks for your attention to this matter. :pray:t5:

Wow, good spot! I never thought about it from that angle.

@Leaderboard, can we consider adjusting this?

“each end” → two ends → cannot be a polygon.

But you’re right, and we’ve fixed it.
