Big Book Test 17, Section 2, Question 18, 19 Short Passage

Hi Team,

In the below passage, as I simplified, author Author agrees with Vinaver Theory that Malory’s eight romances are Independent but not Separate, they have effects on each other and they have a conflicting chronology but have an order.

Q:18 Doubt in III. Where did author compared “contradictions in chronology” and “unity”? What is the evidence for less important?

Q:19 i) Option B is wrong because of demonstrates? And Vinaver never demonstrated the irrationality, but just stated that unification was irrational (Because he supported separate theory)? Or even, he never said it was irrational?
ii) E is correct because subtle is synonym with apparent in Line 5?
iii) For E, How can author disagree and says Vinaver valid at the same time?

Please help.

Thank you
