would be most likely to agree with which of the
following statements?
(A) The good director will attempt to explore new
ideas as quickly as possible.
(B) The most important element contributing to
a film’s success is the ability of the actors.
(C) The camera must be considered an integral
and active element in the creation of a film.
D) The cinema should emphasize serious and
sober examinations of fundamental human
problems.
(E) The proper composition of scenes in a film
is more important than the details of their
editing.
The answer to the above question is listed as C but I am not convinced with it and I am more inclined towards option D.
Reasons for rejection of option C-

  1. The word “must” seems problematic to me as it is too extreme. The author does shows penchant towards the camera thing but the option seems to extreme.

Reasons to choose option D-
The author does provided the range of GrifTith work in para 3, which includes social cause as one of the range. (Line 45-46). So author won’t mind agreeing for the cinema to highlight the human problems.
