This the math strategy I used:
Although (-) contrasting idea 1 and 2
idea 2: long dormancy was hiding violent nature
since its a contrast, with Idea 1, Blank 1 should be something like non violent/inactive?
But none of the options for Blank 1 are close to non violent/inactive

[image] I understand the second blank. But i dont understand the logic behind the first blank. It clearly states that Mt Helens was dormant for a long time, shouldn’t the first blank be ~dormant as well ? Like “although I am calm than most of my friends, my calmness belies my violent nature” ? I am doing contrast with although, and i am contrasting with the whole of the second sentence (or phrase idk , after the comma part). Please explain why I am wrong.
