Can you directly skip to the SE questions by skipping others as suggested in verbal time management?

I think I heard GRE is an adaptive test and does skipping questions makes you only get easy questions or the questions on a section are fixed from the beginning and you could do any section you like?

the section(quant/verbal) that you get is totally random but you can skip to any question you like in the particular section
