Why are you multiplying by 5!?
If 0 represents a “fail” and a 1 represents a pass then for the case of failing all subjects, you’re looking for this specific tuple (outcome):
(M, E_n, E_c, A, B)= (0,0,0,0,0).
There are no other tuples to consider.
Other than that, your idea of finding the complement (by doing 1 - failing all) is fine.
