Confusion about Question

In Q40, the questions just mentions the “arc”. So I marked D because by default I decided to take the minor arc (as it was a single choice only) however if we consider the major arc then the answer is A -

4.pi < 2.pi.d/3 < 6.pi
6 < d < 9

So is this an error by Manhattan and ETS is not expected to make this error.
Or
Is there something that I missed?

instead of 2pid/3 it will be pi(d)/3 OR ------> 4pi < (2r)pi/3 < 6pi ----> 2r = d and multiply 3 on both side we get ----> 12pi < d < 18 pi

I meant which arc to consider -

If we consider the MINOR ARC the answer is D -
4.pi < pi.d/3 < 6.pi
12 < d < 18

However, If we consider the MAJOR ARC the answer is A -
4.pi < 2.pi.d/3 < 6.pi
6 < d < 9

@admin_gregmat could you please help?

I think the same as you. Can’t figure out what went wrong. I would go for D as well.

I think that’s why they mentioned : each arc bounded by adjacent corners of the triangle and each of the three arc corresponds to a 120 angle

I agree, major arc cannot be bound by two adjacent corners, all three corners are bound in the major arc. So the correct answer can only be D
