Confusion with the Math Stratergy

By using the Math Strategy I am able to form relations in the sentence, such as finding the support or the contrast and I am also able to determine whether the blank is a positive or a negative connotation.

But the main problem comes when I have to choose which word from the sentence needs to be related to the blank. Is there a easy way to determine which word needs to be added in the blank.

Could someone please tell me what the blank would be related to, after I find the support and contrast. (Like would it be a verb or a noun or anything else?)

I think you’re probably doing the maths strategy wrong. After you’ve found out the support or contrast, you’ve also got support/contrast to “what?” And then you move to options. Watch math strategy videos if you’re looking for examples.

So I need to understand the sentence properly right?
