Hi, I am having trouble solving the below question:

The population and sample standard deviation, of a list of n elements are 6 and 2root10 respectively. What is n?

Since there are no solution video as well, so I am unable to understand the solution to it.

I had a look at chatGPT solution for this, but it had created a relationship bw sample SD and population SD which is not present in the modules so far. Hence looking for clarity on this question.

You should end up with 2 equations and 2 unknowns. Just assume the top part of the SD under the square root is x, and then solve for X in one of the equations, and plug that in for X in the other equation. N would then result. Let me know if this helped or if you have more questions.
