Hey there -
Remember that you’re still starting out. The diagnostic test is simply meant to help you understand the pattern of the test, as well as areas which you feel need to focus more on over the course of your prep. In week one, you’re mostly checking on the foundation you should have for giving the GRE. As you progress through the plan and practice more questions as recommended, you’ll gain more confidence in your problem solving abilities.
In your case, I suggest you invest some time in reading more non-fiction English books - they don’t have to be complex, you can start with something like Atomic Habits by James Clear. It’ll feel rough at first if you’re not a native speaker, but there’s nothing you can learn without practice.
Prep can get frustrating and the initial low score sucks. But it’s only temporary - remember that scoring low is just part of the process. The real value in the diagnostic test is understanding what the experience taught you, and the things you can learn from it.
Hope this helps, and good luck for the rest of your prep!
