For the question,
f(x)=∣x∣+k, where k is a real constant. Is the function’s range always equal to its domain?

hy is the range not equal to the domain in this question. Isn’t both just the set of real nos. While I agree with the soln which mentions that the range cannot be any less than k, doesn’t that mean that range can be any real no. Or am I understanding this incorrectly?
