I was thinking about solving this problem using double possibility.
B1 = awarded/damaged
B2 = polished/fabricate
However, this question was posted in a math strategy class with the following as the solution.
How is “further their own careers” a negative statement?
How does “polished” work here? What does that mean and how does that support the idea of pursuing the truth?
I was trying to come up with a word like refine
The idea behind the word was they would improve upon their experimental results
I wouldn’t say its a strong indicator of pursuit of truth to have refined results. My opinion though
