Doubt here-
Why can’t the answer be “resolving” for the first one?
My logic: I eliminated forestall- as it means prevent by taking action beforehand. We cannot prevent the debate as it is already ongoing, and the action of telescopes will come after it. That is why I chose resolving.
Can you please tell how this logic is flawed and how should I think about the correct answer?
