Hello everyone!
These questions (Q2 & Q23) are from Tickbox Quiz 15.
Suppose in a without-replacement scenario, it’s said that in Quantity A, the probability he pulls a red marble out fifth and the probability he pulls a green marble out sixth without replacing in the same Quantity A, and in Quantity B, it says the probability he pulls a green marble out sixth, then only both probabilities will be different, right?
I mean, if Quantity A says the probability, he pulls a red marble out fifth, and Quantity B says the probability he pulls a green marble out sixth, here I’m considering that the draw of the Quantity A won’t affect Quantity B. Because it’s not mentioned, for example, in Quantity A that he is drawing two marbles without replacement, it’s simply asking what the probability of two different events is. By that I mean the ‘without replacement’ info has no important role in the question, right?
