I have my GRE exam in 20 days and finding RC extremely difficult. Its partly because I focused too much on TC and SE. Will ONLY solving Big Book for RC be sufficient enough if I’m aiming around 155-160 and i score around 8-10/14 on TC and SE.
You need to bit more (way more ) specific about at what area under the RC’s you r feeling the ur weakness lies in for eg : maybe you’re finding it difficult to find the main idea or you couldn’t rephrase questions or you’re having difficulty in finding concrete evidence to justify your answers . On the website you will find that each skilled is covered in detailed but as ur running out time choose a few in which u think u can improve and leave the rest.
If you go about it purposefully, 20 days is plenty of time to make significant progress IMO. I also had trouble with RC, after leaving it for the last minute.
Like the other verbal sections it’s VERY important go through RC not blindly based on your reading skills and intuition but rather with a methodical approach based on Greg’s strategies. 20 days is a LOT of time to get a solid understanding of these patterns, but if I were you I’d watch Greg’s videos first so that you’re not wasting your time. Brute forcing it by doing 500 questions without thinking through them and hoping it will suddenly “click” isn’t going to be helpful, you will improve negligibly in RC unless you are 100% clear on what makes an answer right or wrong. And yes, Big Book is the best source.
