Geometry Session 7 HW

Hi Greg,

This is in regard to problem 2 of geometry session 7 homework. How do you know that the water level equals the radius when placed on it’s side? Isn’t there a possibility that the water falls below the halfway point, in which case the radius varies? I solved this by supplementing the radius r = 3 in the formula V=pi r^2 h and solving for h. Which gives the answer of 4. Please clarify

What’s the question itself?
