When graphing this, we don’t we have the two equations y=x^2+2 and y=-x^2-2? The second of which would be the first flipped upside down and shifted down to a minimum of (0, -2)?
Since |x^2 + 2| is always positive, it’s equivalent to just x^2 + 2
