In here B and C are correct
but should A also not be correct
well fed guppies = more alert/active = less likely to be killed
hungry puppies = less alert (by block of 4) = more likely to die
in the A option - the first part says exactly this
Please help with this.

Well Fed Guppies = more alert = able to be less active in the presence of predators = less likely to be prey.
Partially anestesized tadpoles = less alert (inferred) = less active (stated in passage) = less likely to be prey because it showed less activity
