I got the same pattern and so I thought the remainder for 3 power 37/7 will be 2 and for 3 power 61 I thought it would be 5. How are they both the same?

The pattern repeats after every 6th term, so you will divide the power by 6 as the 7th term will have the same value as the first one. So the 37 divided by 6 gives a remainder 1 so the 3^1 and 61 divided by 6 gives a remainder of 1, so we take 3 power 1 term which is have remainder 3 which is equal so c is the correct option. you just test it with some random examples of your own you will understand it better.
