How will I know when to answer "D" or spend time on a problem?

Currently studying the “overwhelmed” plan, and the more I go through it, the more this question keeps popping up in my head, so i’m just going to ask this now, so I don’t keep ruminating on it:

When I get through all of the modules, is there a video on strategy that teaches how to determine when a problem should be answered as:

  • “The relationship cannot be determine from the info given.”
  • versus
  • When you should try to spend time solving it?**

Here is an example of a question I just did that, based on the info provided (or lack thereof), I THOUGHT the answer was D, but according to the quiz, it appears to be A:

Hi, this is something you’ll learn later on when you get to the strategy stage. There are some specific strategies for these QC questions, I wouldn’t worry about that for now, just focus on the concepts.

For these problems, choosing a number like 100 and trying it would be a good thing to do.
