here in this problem, the answer should be 0 but I miscalculated it as 15
Does this mean my foundation is bad or is it poor strategy that’s at fault?

I’m not sure if anyone can answer that besides you. If you knew what to do but made an arithmetic error then I wouldn’t be quick to call that a foundation issue (at least for this specific topic). In contrast, if you didn’t know how to do it then it could be a foundation issue, but there’s no guarantee regardless.
