Hi everyone, I hope you are all having a lovely day today.
As the title states, I am writing this to potentially challenge an answer in the GRE Reading Strategy Series - Practice Session 3 (2024 Edition) under day 1, week 7 of the 2 month study plan. I have attached a photo of the question. The question is at 45 minutes and 30 seconds into the video.
I challenge that C is the only correct answer, and not A and C as stated in the video for one specific reason, the word “most” in the question. While in the above passage we have evidence that SOME Nobel winners rely on being taught by others, that most are creative, and that it is suggested that this creativity can be learned, there is not evidence to suggest that “most” or a majority of winners do so. By making the leap from some to most I believe there is an element of story telling in the answer.
However, as this forum is filled with many people who are far more intelligent than I, I look forward to hearing other opinions on the answer. If you disagree, I would love to hear why!
Have a great weekend,
-Steve
