Need advice for next GRE attempt (Verbal)

tldr; How can I prepare myself for my second attempt of GRE, in verbal, of questions having difficulty level of “3”, “4” and “5”??

Hi folks! 3 weeks ago I gave my GRE and i got a score of 167Q + 146V. I wasn’t expecting such poor performance in verbal (compared to my performance in mocks). I believe that I can do better in verbal which is why I am thinking of trying for second attempt.

When I analysed my score I found that in section_A of verbal I got 1/20, while in section_B of verbal I got 17/20. I am a little confused on seeing such great variance in both the sections of verbal.

I suspect 2 things.

  1. Section 7 which is last section of exam was of verbal (3 verbal, 2 quant) and I was pretty much exhausted till then. I suspect this was counted towards section_A.
  2. In my score result analysis I found that section_A had questions from difficulty level “3”, “4”, “5” while section_B had questions from difficulty level “1”, “2”, “3” and couple of “4”. Thus I conclude that while I am able to solve easy questions, I am unable to solve hard questions with under stress+exhaustion.

So, how can I prepare myself for my second attempt of GRE, in verbal, of questions having difficulty level of “3”, “4” and “5”??

edit : attaching my result

verbal I got 1/20

the section 1 is of mixed difficulty and since didn’t performed very well in it this lead you get the easy section as your section2

try to be very specific with your review , did you make a mistake in 1 blanker → yes/no → time-take etc…

Hey, attaching my result.

Section_1

Section_2

I think you should redo the one-month plan because there is definitely a gap in your fundamentals.

Also, try to test your vocab and see if you know majority of the words from Greg’s List or not otherwise may need to put-in work for that too!
