Need Guidance on How to Start Verbal Prep

Hi everyone,
I’m a beginner currently following a 2-month GRE preparation plan, and I’m finding the Verbal section—especially Text Completion and Sentence Equivalence—quite exhausting. I’m trying to apply the strategies suggested in videos, but many of my answers are still coming out wrong, which is getting a bit discouraging.

Could anyone please advise me on:

  1. How to properly start with GRE Verbal as a beginner

  2. How to effectively use strategies/tools (like identifying clue words, eliminating traps, checking sentence structure, etc.)

  3. Any tips that helped you build accuracy in TC/SE when you were starting out

Any guidance or recommended approach would really help. Thank you!

use the ETS big book answer keys to find the easiest questions, and don’t do anything harder than those until you’re very accurate on the easy ones. Slowly increase difficulty while maintaining accuracy.

Thanks! Vince

I have another question , should i initially learn vocab more or continue 2 month prep plan with vocab?
