Need help with quant problem

xx

Can someone please make me understand why the answer here is c as I can easily distort the image and get d right?

How?

I can think of angles for a= 50, c= 100 and e= 60
then b+d+f would be 150
and vice versa

Try finding any value of b, d and f that would work in this problem.

b= 40, d= 30 and f=80?. I am not sure what property I am missing here as nothing is given in terms of which angle together will construe as line for example.

If they are vertically opposite angle then the answer would be (C), but not sure if we can infer that?

a + b + c \neq 180 in that case.

You can. And the fact that angles in a line add up to 180^{\circ}.

But isn’t it usually taught that QC diagram can be distorted unless they explicitly mention. For example in circle questions etc.

You cannot bend a line though. See pages 8 - 10 of https://www.ets.org/pdfs/gre/gre-math-conventions.pdf.

This is helpful, thank you so much
