NEWBIE need help figuring out available practice tests that are available

Hey ya’ll, my apologies if I am not using this forum the correct way.

Today is Friday, I am planning to take the 1 month Gregmat course starting on Monday, after which I will take the GRE promptly.

I was overwhelmed with the amount of videos available, and I was getting confused between the old and new GRE.

I wanted some clarification as to what practice tests are available for the NEW GRE. I know that there are some practice tests already implemented in the 1 month course. So what practice test is recommended for me to take first before I start the course in order to gauge my baseline score and see what I need to improve on.

My plan is to take a practice test during the weekend, see what I need to focus more on. Then proceed with the 1 month plan with added emphasis to the sections that I am weak in.

Any additional clarification or helpful comments would be much appreicated!!

You just need to follow one of the study plans. If you’re totally new to the GRE, the overwhelmed plan is the easiest way to get started. Once you’re done with that, you can let us know and we can guide you on what to do next. No need to do anything else as of now.

There are five practice tests from ETS.

Free:

  1. PowerPrep 1
  2. PowerPrep 2

Paid:

  1. PowerPrepPlus 1
  2. PowerPrepPlus 2
  3. PowerPrepPlus 3

In addition, we have three practice tests that are all free. To find out more about these, please check here:

All of these tests are tuned for the new shorter GRE.

If you’re doing the 1 month plan it tells you exactly when to do a practice test and which one. No need to do anything else in advance.
