Is it by default implied that, by the number of solutions ETS meant the number/count of **real** solutions? I do recall from my school teacher, "**every** quadratic equation has two solutions, though may they not be the real.

Yesterday in the Algebra Fundamental class, Greg has determined the answer on the basis of the number of real solutions, only. Any insights? @gregmat

Only real solution for GRE, can’t enter imaginary numbers yet !

Thanks it helps

Does this mean, if the question doesn’t specify to provide only real solutions, we still give only real ones?

Nice

Thanks a lot.

I will also go through the Conventions.
