Official General Guide Practice Test 1 Section 4 #11

I understand the first two blanks, but can someone explain why the correct answer to the third blank is G and not H? In the last sentence directly after the blank, it says that one must supplement opinions wiht althernative points of view, which can be done if the ideas are not completely opposed to one another, otherwise you would have a paradox. While I didn’t think this was perfect, I also didn’t see any evidence pointing to erroneous, since there is no mention of factual evidence or accuracy or anything related to errors in the passage.

I’ll feel free to skip the first two blanks and will only focus on the third. Now, let’s understand the sentence after blank (ii), it’s supposed to say that opinions opposed to one’s own are rarely completely against one’s belief, which means these views are partial. If the views are partial these “opposing views” were never supposed to point out errors in your opinions. Hence G works.
