Hey Greg!
I have attached a screenshot of a question you discussed during TC verbal video session 3.
How did you decide that the first blank will the form ?
I mean what are the inital clues you looked for while approaching this kind of question.
Your help would be appreciated. Looking forward to hear from you soon.
Thanks

This is how I approached it
Comma divide the sentence into two halves and as there is no contrasting words we can say that idea of first half = idea of second half.
Now, in first half we got function then blank || while in the second half we got blank then physical form and cellular organization (form or structure).
So, we just fill in the missing parts so that both idea speaks the same things
- Function : Forms(blank i) :: Function (blank ii): Forms(physical form and cellular organization)
Aah yes nice. This helps
One question though.
So while approaching any new question I assume that there will be some kind of contrast or support.
But in some cases like this one there is a case of both blanks being equal .
So , In a realtime test scenario what would be the best strategy for identifying whether its a contrast or if it is equal?
Cause there’s one doubt in the back of my mind if I am reading the GRE question right or not or if I am missing something like (a contrast or a support). So how can we be sure of this?
