Potentially Incorrect Big Book Question?

I think the Big Book Test 9 Section 2 Pg 356 Q17 is slightly incorrect since the correct answer uses outside knowledge.

In the passage, we don’t have any evidence that appendicularians can survive in frigid waters other than using our outside knowledge that the Arctic Ocean is cold.

What do you think about this?

Haha I remember asking Greg the same question. Apparently one of the definitions of the word “arctic” itself means cold
