PP2 Quant Score Improvement

Hi everyone!

I had given PP1 few weeks back and I got a 167 in quant. I gave PP2 yesterday and I got 20/20 in the first section but I got 13/18 in the second one ( I couldn’t finish 2 questions).

The first section seemed fine but when I started doing the 2nd section my confidence started dropping down. I was intimidated by the QC questions (even though I got them all correct) and I started freaking out. I started messing up the remaining questions and the “length” of the questions scared me but when I’d try to calm down and read the question, I’d realize that the question is actually simple.

Another thing I noticed was that the 19th question was a chart question and that threw me off. Generally, chart questions are from 14-16 so I was not expecting a chart question towards the end. I had 1 minute remaining and I was freaking out and I ended up making a calculation mistake.

I guess my question is: How do I prepare myself for such questions that seem “lengthy” and “complex”? And how do I stop freaking out? :slightly_frowning_face:

Also, can we see a breakdown of the time we spend per question in the PP2 test? I think I spent way too much time on few questions but I wanted to confirm my hunch.

I’m currently watching greg’s walkthrough of the PP2 Hard section to identify my mistakes and understand how I could solve the problems faster.

Thanks in advance for your help!
