Practice resources for TC?

Hello! I have been practicing TC / SE from the official guides, and have completed those (plus I also seem to faintly recall this material from my previous attempts)

Any suggestions on where I can practice TC / SE from? For RC, I’m mostly relying on the Big book.

Have you done TC from the Big Book?

I haven’t done all tests. Last month or so had posted a couple of TC queries from the Big Book when Vince replied saying Big Book TC has many questions with easy usage eliminations when one is a native speaker, and suggested I use recent ETS material for TC.

Would you suggest using the Big Book only and really practicing cracking the logic?

In that case, I’d ask @vince for his recommendation on what to do next.

Hello! Have the exam in a couple of days and therefore bit of an urgent request- I’m right now just practicing using the Big Book timed verbal quizzes from Gregmat website- any suggestions from you on what else I should use (if needed) to polish TC, SE and RC across these last couple of days I have? Otherwise can continue BB

Ok, then yeah I’d just say to do Big Book, but work on the sentences themselves without eliminating any choices until you’ve solved all blanks. When eliminating, first go through the options for each blank (as in, go A-E eliminating each first blank option, then go A-E eliminating the second blank options, even if you eliminated the corresponding first blank). There may be more than one plausible answer choice for a particular blank in the Big Book. If that happens, then look at the pair together to eliminate (only one will have two good answers). The exception to assessing each blank separately is for double possibilities, where you can jump straight to eliminating based on the pair, since you are looking for a particular relationship between the blank words.

The most important part is to make sure you have strong predictions and can easily articulate your reasoning for each answer option.

Also, don’t overdo the studying in the last few days before your test. You don’t want to fatigue yourself. Make sure you are getting enough rest.

This makes sense, thank you so much for detailing out the process Alina!

And yes, will rest up too.
