I dont get why answer is B? If we push the bottom and top sides of a rectangle to left and right respectively, obviously the base will stay the same (will just move to the left), and the height should stay the same also, as the vertical distance between the bottom and top lines remains the same (we moved them sideways not up or down). So why is answer B?
Not really. Try with an example - the base does stay the same but the height doesn’t - recall that it must be perpendicular to the base.
