PrepSwift Practice Question Doubt

After analyzing 100 test scores, all of which are distinct, a teacher discovers that the mean and median are the same.

Quantity A

The mean of the test scores if the lowest score was removed from the dataset

Quantity B

The median of the test scores if the lowest score was removed from the dataset

Quantity A is greater.

Quantity B is greater.

The two quantities are equal.

The relationship cannot be determined from the information given.

Shouldn’t the answer to this be C. The test scores will be between 1 - 100 or 0 - 99, since they’re distinct. If we remove 1 or 0 the mean and median still stay the same because of symmetry

They don’t necessarily have to exhibit symmetry.
