QC Answer Confusion

n is an even negative integer.

Quantity A
(1/3)^n

Quantity B
(−3)^n

A. Quantity A is greater.
B. Quantity B is greater.
C. The two quantities are equal.
D. The relationship cannot be determined from the information given.

Why wouldn’t setting n=0 yield QA=QB=1? And then setting n= to anything else yield a different answer, so the correct choice would be D? The answers to this question in lecture and online say QA>QB
