Can someone please help me understand this? How to figure out the possibles values, By looking at the problem i came up with 4, 10. But i got it wrong. Please try to explain your thought process. Thanks in Advance :slight_smile:

“The remainder when n divided by 3 is 1”
Possible values of n = 1,4,7,10,13,16,19,22…
“The remainder when n+1 divided by 2 is 1”
From the given values before n = 4,10,16,22…
Remainder when n-1 is divided by 4:
3/6, r = 3
9/6, r = 3
15/6, r = 3
21/6, r = 3
A = 3
B = 3
Both are equal

Its dividing by 6 in the Qty A

B is not the right answer.
Also, its “divided by 6” not 4 as mentioned by kremlin

Ah my bad, I did it in a hurry
Edited my answer, it would be A

For Qty A : its n-1 for n = 4,10,16,22

So, remainder will be \frac{4-1}{6}=\frac{3}{6} , \frac{10-1}{6}=\frac{9}{6} … and so on right?

Yes, so may mistakes here
