The right answer here is option C. i.e odd polynomial function have same domain and range. What if I define my function as this?
f(x) = 1 for x>0
f(x) = 0 for x = 0
f(x) = -1 for x<0
Is there any definition for a polynomial function that is not being satisfied by the above function?

Polynomial function is defined as follows :
Although, a constant function like f(x) = 5 is still a polynomial function. The above function is a step-function and hence does not fit in the definition of polynomial function
