Wouldn’t the answer to this question technically only be option 1 since it’s not explicitly stated anywhere in the problem that c is not equal to zero in option 3?

Technically, even if c=0,

a(b\div{0}) = \frac{ab}{0}

But I do see your point, if the original intention is to not divide by 0. @Leaderboard
