Is there a simpler way to solve this? The current method seems too lengthy and the chances of mistakes are also higher because of the decimals. Please help.
Within the bounds of GRE, this is probably the best, if not the only way.
For the decimals, you can use use two decimal places for your calculation.
On the length of the solution, it’s best to skip a question like this, finish all others and then come back to it if you have time. Keep in mind the set is untimed for a reason - to help you comd up with the answer no matter how long it takes.
