Why are we using 5^x as the divisor? I thought the goal is to find factors of 10 when finding the number of trailing zeros?
I’m guessing this is supposed to mean, '" thought the goal is to find how many 10s are present in a number," in which case that is equivalent to finding the “multiplicity” (number) of 5s. It’s because you’re guaranteed to have more 2s than 5s in any factorial.
