I’m a little confused about this question especially the London is a city with a lot of homogeneity being false as the answer. because the sentence itself doesn’t look wrong or conflicting. Are we suppose to use our own context that this is actually wrong?
I’m coming from the first few lessons so maybe it will be answered later but it will be great to know if we’re suppose to apply our own logic when answering the question too or just look at the sentence in the exam.
Thanks in advance
Well from my perspective i saw “city” which is generally large, diverse, etc. Which means homogeneity is the opposite.
Yeah, I get what you are saying. Just feel like this require some assumption and I don’t think it’s ‘wrong’ grammatically, just need to use common sense.
I just want to know if it’s ok to do that.
From my perspective common sense like “city” equals diverse which is the opposite of “homogeneity” is fine but knowledge that “London” is not homogeneous, its diverse so its wrong is using outside knowledge?? idk for sure cus i tend to be more careful in what we use as outside knowledge!
