I’ve been practicing reading comprehension from the GRE Big Book, but my scores are inconsistent — sometimes I get all the questions right, and other times I get most of them wrong. What can I do to improve this situation?
I would see what skills you have trouble with. Are you getting main idea questions wrong? Or function? Or inference? Do you have trouble with shorter or longer passages?
Based on that information, I would take advantage of the Skill Building tools under the Quizzes tab on the website to iron out some key RC skills. I would also see if there are patterns. For example, if you are more inconsistent with inference questions, then I would focus more on those to build consistency and get some more practice.
