Hello.
At present, I can do a pretty decent job at doing RC passages (along with questions) untimed. I get almost all of the questions correct.
But when I turn to timed practice, I feel a strange anxiety because I’d lose one practice passage if I did it wrong. How do you folks go about it?
This kind of anxiety stops me from doing timed practice. And if I somehow push myself to do it, the anxiety ruins my performance. Does anyone else here feel the same? How do you cope with this?
I don’t think you can escape timed
practice for much longer into you’re prep as GRE or any other standard tests demands that you’re great at time management! I mean it’s not about having the knowledge to solve the question as most people can solve a question if time in not an issue , it’s more about being able to come up with a solution in the given time-frame . I would start with giving yourself 15 mins per passage then tune it down to 10 mins per passage(In real gre you get 2 mins per question of RC).
Greg advice people to do a combination of timed and un-timed practice !

Thanks. I’ll try those tips.
