why is k value not taken as -1 in last? please can anyone help?
Because the question was for k = 1?
if k is equal to x… will k not be -1?
or will the k value be given separately?
Where is the vertical line located? At 1 or -1?

So if x=k and the line’s x coordinate is 1, then k must be 1, not -1
