Hello GRE friends! I am just wondering if anybody is familiar with the GRE scoring algorithm for both the Power Prep (plus) mock tests and also the actual GRE? I just took the PowerPrep + mock test and aside from the fact that I did poorly, I am just wondering how the scoring worked here…
For quant section I I got 8/20 correct and for section II: I got 11/20. My score for quant turned out to be 148. Shouldn’t my score be a 149, being that I performed 19 correct?
For verbal section one I got 7/20 correct and for section 2, I got 10/20 correct. My score for verbal is a meager 144.
I thought that (for verbal) if you get 7 questions or more correct in section one, the score gets curved by a 2 point increase? Is that not the case?
