Could someone please make me understand how come visible and salient tantamount to each other when the general meaning of both are quite disparate? Will we get these kinds of difficult questions in the main exam?
Isn’t it just:
salient → something conspicuous → something clearly visible → visible

But salient in general,implies chief,the most important something like that! At the first glance,it is really confusing to make a connection between salient and visible or Maybe my vocab isn’t that much stronger
