Shouldn't answer be B

I can’t understand why answer is not B. When graph is negatively skewed mean > median . But the correct answer was D . why so?

Do you know the mean?

When our data is negatively skewed , isn’t mean > median ? And we have to compare right we dont need to provide exact value ? is there something i am missing?

Hint: the distance between the third quartile and median on the boxplot is not very useful. Think about what you do know and what you don’t.

Ok now i understand know . We don’t know the position of our data points here . There could be many value in Q3 that could be equal to median and just it will bring mean down . But in case of bell curve we can tell because height of bell curve indicates the density of data points. Is this right understanding?

Indeed.
