The question asked:
A group containing y (y>1) people can be evenly divided into smaller groups of 6, 7, 8 or 9 people. What is the smallest value of y?
I used LCM to solve this, but I thought it was weird that an arithmetic type question appeared in a data analysis quiz. Is there a way to solve this question using information we learned from data analysis?
