Taking the GRE for the first time - Shifting from the GMAT

Im taking the GRE for the first time. I took the GMAT twice and got 575 and 525. Shifting to the GRE because i struggled with the Quant section on the gmat esp topics like permutations and combinations. Any advice on how to go about it and when to plan practise tests? Should i take one before i start to understand my level of preparedness? I have exactly one month to give the test

also unable to mention gregmat on this. It says “new users cannot mention other users”. Any idea how to go about this ?

hi, I’m in a very similar situation, and gregmat team recommended me to do the foundational tests before I jump in any practice exams. currently I’m doing the I’m overwhelmed for quant and 1 month study plan for verbal. a lot of work, but it’s worth it.

Same! switched from gmat to gre, liking the change and loving the videos/strats so far.

This is to discourage unnecessary pinging.

For quant: Take the untimed version of A full rapid-fire (or untimed) GRE Foundation Test - GregMat and let me know your score.

For verbal: take a round of the Vocab Check feature (Home - GregMat - GregMat) with 30 words and groups.
