Doubt in this question:

Here, I selected trenchant for the first blank, because her remarks were childish, shameless- which fit with cutting/ critical (definition of trenchant).

I understand that puerile is a better fit with the evidence of infantile- but in the explanation video, Greg says that trenchant got eliminated because it’s NOT a negative word- which in my view it is. Can you please help me understand why trenchant is not regarded as a neative word here?

I’m not sure if its positive or negative, but we can eliminate it because we have no evidence that the remarks we made were cutting, but we do know they are infantile so puerile has evidence.
